I've been a vampire fan from the beginning, before this Twilight mess ever began. And just for the vampires, I probably would have read Twilight just to try it. But NOW, thanks to the hype and my hearing loss from people talking about Sexy Edward, I wouldn't read Twilight if you put me in solitary confinement with nothing to read but Twilight!!!!

It has a better outlook on vampires and vampires actually burn in the sun.
Vampires there are not shown as f*cking sparkly 'Vegetarians'... they're shown as the blood thirsty monsters they really are with the exception of a few, who make up in Sarcasm, Character Development and Personality
